Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm
Position is fully onsite

Kelly is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to work with our client, a global food and agriculture leader, on a temporary basis for 3+ months with potential to get hired on. The Demand Planning Analyst will:

  • Assist Sales and Marketing in developing formal analysis on the external environment and ensure resulting assumptions are integrated into Demand Plans

  • Work with Sales, Marketing, and Supply planning teams to approve or reject potential new sales opportunities

  • Run Time-Series Statistical modelling to keep forecast assumptions in check

  • Assist Sales in the quantifying customer service level goals which are used to calculate safety stock targets and optimize the use of working capital

  • Coordinate Pre-Demand Management Review distribution and analysis of monthly forecasts

  • Facilitate the Pre-DMR Sales and Marketing review process

  • Ensure the effective update of Demand Planning metrics

  • Assist in the development and management of product prioritization and allocation plans in conditions of constrained supply

  • Assist with regular user training sessions for relevant S&OP processes

  • Quickly analyze, create, and communicate possible scenarios for how to achieve business goals with stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from 4-year college or university

  • Preference given to Master’s degree and/or APICs certification

  • Preference given to Oliver Wight training or knowledge of IBP best practices

  • 3+ years of relevant demand planning experience 

  • Preference given to Logility or SAP IBP tool experience

  • Strength in basic Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) with confidence in advanced tools like SQL, PowerBI, Access, and Logility a plus

  • Statistical Modeling knowledge and experience (Time-Series Modeling & Cause and Effect Modeling)

  • Storytelling and relationship building

  • Ability to manage time and meet tight, but consistent deadlines
