Location: Largo, FL
Shifts & Pay Rates:

  • Mechanical Assembler
    ?• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $17.25/hr.
    ?• 2nd Shift: 3:24 PM – 11:54 PM | $18.40/hr.

  • Electronic Assembler
    ?• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $18.25/hr.
    ?• 2nd Shift: 3:24 PM – 11:54 PM | $18.95/hr.

About the Roles:
We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical and Electronic Assemblers to join our production team. These roles involve assembling products to specification, performing quality checks, and supporting our continuous improvement initiatives. You will be working in a collaborative cell/team environment with opportunities to rotate through a variety of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble a range of mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and optical products following written instructions and blueprints

  • Assemble handpieces, optical products, wire harnesses, and cable assemblies per written specifications and procedures

  • Perform soldering tasks (Electronic Assembler) and demonstrate proficiency meeting J-STD certification standards

  • Inspect parts, sub-assemblies, and final products throughout the manufacturing process

  • Perform production tests and preventive maintenance on various assemblies, equipment, and tools

  • Use hand tools and manual, semi-automatic, and automatic assembly/test equipment

  • Comply with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements and all safety guidelines

  • Contribute to 5S standards and continuous improvement activities

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, performing housekeeping tasks as required

  • Flexibly rotate through various manufacturing tasks and work overtime as scheduled

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience as an electronic assembler (for Electronic Assembler positions) with proven soldering proficiency

  • Ability to complete J-STD soldering certification and pass a soldering skill evaluation

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow detailed work instructions

  • Basic understanding of computers

  • Willingness and ability to rotate through different manufacturing processes

  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day, bend, stoop, use hands, and lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted
