Pay Rate: $30–$35 per hour based on experience
Shift: First Shift - Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm
***(Must have flexibility to work overtime as needed and possibly on the weekends if ever required. May require working across shifts depending on training needs)***
Location: Denver, CO 80238
Position Type: Temporary, may be room for long term opportunity as well for the right candidate

What’s a typical day as PIT Trainer? You’ll be:
- Delivering hands-on, equipment-specific training to approximately 40 PIT operators.
- Training associates on a variety of powered industrial trucks (sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, electric pallet jacks/walkies).
- Guiding new operators through the learning process with real-time coaching and support.
- Evaluating operator competency and certifying employees per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 standards.
- Conducting practical evaluations and accurately documenting certification outcomes.
- Reinforcing safety protocols and ensuring proper equipment handling at all times.
- Maintaining structured training schedules and all required documentation.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have 3–4+ years of hands-on PIT operating experience (required).
- Can demonstrate proven experience training or coaching equipment operators.
- Must hold an OSHA-compliant PIT certification (1910.178).
- Possess a strong understanding of equipment safety and warehouse operations.
- Can provide clear, step-by-step instruction and real-time corrections.
- Are bilingual (Spanish/English)—highly preferred for this role.
- Have a formal Train-the-Trainer certification (preferred).
- Bring experience from high-volume distribution environments and can train on multiple types of PIT equipment.
- Are patient, safety-focused, and detail-oriented, with a structured and consistent training approach.
