Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Shift: 5am – 3:30pm Mon-Thurs

What’s a typical day as Production Sanitizer? You’ll be:

• Disassembling and reassembling production filling equipment using hand tools as directed
  

• Keeping assigned work area clean and safe at all times
  

• Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment according to SOPs and supervisor instructions
  

• Setting up production lines for specific products per the production schedule
  

• Connecting product tanks with production supply lines
  

• Performing daily and scheduled cleaning assignments to maintain plant cleanliness
  

• Conducting minor maintenance on equipment during the cleaning process
  

• Maintaining accurate records of all cleanings performed
  

• Reporting any unsanitary practices to the Sanitation Supervisor
  

• Working cooperatively with co-workers and other departments
  

• Maintaining punctuality and attendance

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED (required)
  

• Possess at least 1 year of work experience in manufacturing or equivalent
  

• Have mechanical ability and experience setting up and repairing transfer pumps and filling machines
  

• Can read and write English instructions and reports
  

• Are able to use simple math to measure fill speed and rates
  

• Demonstrate good communication skills and can follow written and verbal instructions
  

• Are able to lift up to 35 pounds, stand for up to three hours at a time, and use hand tools
  

• Have previous equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
