We’re seeking a Warehouse Associate to work at a premier local distribution center in Garland, TX. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Shift: 7:30am – 4pm Mon- Fri

What’s a typical day as Warehouse Associate? You’ll be:

  • Operating equipment to fulfill tasks in shipping, receiving, inventory, or production setup.

  • Safely operating sit-down propane forklifts to move inventory throughout the warehouse.

  • Pulling and receiving accurate product counts for shipments and receipts.

  • Reporting any product, equipment, or forklift damage to supervisors promptly.

  • Handling and staging inventory for shipments, including shrink-wrapping pallets and securing loads.

  • Following process sheets for shipments, ensuring accuracy for country and product specifications.

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in assigned warehouse aisles.

  • Assisting other departments and providing support for production as needed.

  • Participating in year-end inventory, including overtime if necessary.

  • Using hand tools for bracing and blocking products as required.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED (required).

  • Possess 6 months to 2 years of experience in a similar warehouse environment.

  • Are knowledgeable about safe forklift operation, or willing to be trained.

  • Can read and write English to follow procedures and equipment instructions.

  • Demonstrate good math skills for measuring and counting product.

  • Are familiar with automated inventory systems and barcode technology (preferred).

  • Can safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and climbing ladders.

  • Have prior warehouse safety training (preferred).
