Job details
Our client is seeking a CAD Drafter / Designer with experience utilizing Solid Edge or SolidWorks to support product and mold-related design activities within a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on creating detailed drawings, samples, and design documentation based on sketches, photos, and physical samples.
The ideal candidate will have experience with dimensioning, 3D visualization, mold or cavity understanding, and the ability to interpret concepts into manufacturable drawings and BOMs. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work closely with production and engineering teams are highly desired.
Requirements
- Experience with Solid Edge or SolidWorks
- Ability to create drawings from sketches, photos, or physical samples
- Understanding of dimensioning, cavities, molds, or tooling concepts
- Experience with 3D visualization and design interpretation
- Familiarity with BOMs and manufacturing drawings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Manufacturing or product design experience preferred
