Pay rate: $19/HR

Position Type: Full-time

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to ensure the accurate and timely shipment of all customer and agent orders. If you thrive in a warehouse environment and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and pack all outbound LTL and truckload shipments to ensure correct quantities and items.

  • Load outbound trailers, maximizing efficiency and ensuring accuracy, integrity, and safe transport.

  • Confirm proper loading for safe material transit to customers.

  • Assist with the flow of people, equipment, and product on the dock, supporting order completion, incoming receipts, and inter-plant transfers.

  • Operate digital scales as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 1+ year of related experience.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Solid mathematical skills: able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and work with fractions and decimals.

  • Able to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle routine standardized situations.

Certifications

  • No specific licensing or certifications required.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent walking, talking, and hearing.

  • Occasional standing, sitting, and use of hands to finger, handle, or feel.

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Specific vision requirements include close, color, peripheral, and depth perception, plus ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

  • Warehouse and office setting.
