Job Title: Assembler – 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $12.50 per hour
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking reliable and safety-minded Assemblers for our 1st shift operations. Assemblers are responsible for gathering, assembling, and packing our products while maintaining high quality standards and production goals. This position involves rotating through various duties and requires consistent attendance and punctuality.
Essential Job Functions:
- Reliability: Maintain excellent attendance and be punctual for all scheduled shifts, ready and able to work.
- Safety: Work in a safe manner by following all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Training: Participate in all safety and workplace training and communications during your shift.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with team members, provide support as needed, and assist in new employee training.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and orderly work area by picking up debris, sweeping, and ensuring neatness at all times.
- Assembly & Packing: Gather and pack manufactured products daily, meeting or exceeding established production standards.
- Materials: Refer to Product Order Reports to ensure the correct materials (packaging, cartons) and quantities are used for each order.
- Quality: Identify and report any quality issues (e.g., defects, packaging errors) to QC personnel or shift supervisor immediately.
- Assembly: Assemble or re-assemble parts (such as clips, hooks, or jawbreaker components) according to instructions.
- Other Duties: Assist in rework, inspection, or other tasks as directed by your supervisor.
- Additional Tasks: Perform any other job-related assignments as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Strong manual dexterity, fine finger skills, and speed.
- Physical ability to stand, move, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods (up to the entire shift).
- Capability to lift, pull, or push up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents, including production orders, safety rules, and procedure guides.
- Good eye/hand coordination for operating basic machinery.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent stooping, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, grasping, talking, hearing, and seeing.
- Use of repetitive motions and frequent handling of small parts.
- Prolonged standing is required throughout the shift
