Material Handler
Location: Greer, SC
Shift: 9pm – 6am
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Job Description
Material Handlers needed in Greer, SC location. As a Material Handler, you will manage a variety of routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks, including:
- Movement of solids and liquids
- Decontamination operations
- Packing and repacking materials
- Unloading and loading containers
Note: 24-hour HAZWOPER training is required.
Role Requirements & Details
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience: 2–3 years in a hazardous waste, chemical, or similar industrial setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Forklift certification, yard truck certification, and 40-hour HAZWOPER training
- Responsibilities:
- Operate power and hand tools
- Move and manage hazardous materials
- Decontaminate containers
- Generate labels and complete paperwork
- Ensure compliance with RCRA guidelines
- Operate power and hand tools
- Must be able to work 5 days per week, 8-hour overnight shifts
Other Requirements
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor
- Operate forklifts and manage facility equipment
- Strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations
- Previous material handling experience preferred
- Commitment to safety and company policies
