Position: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $18/hr
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:00AM–4:30PM (Eastern)
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining our office and industrial manufacturing environments, ensuring equipment and facilities are safe, compliant, and efficiently operated. Onsite interviews will be conducted with the manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks throughout the facility, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional heavier lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling required.
- Safely operate tools, materials, and equipment according to established safety and operational procedures.
- Climb ladders and work on elevated aerial platforms as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Perform assigned duties effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in workspaces, contributing to a safe and efficient environment.
- Work in both office and industrial settings, with potential exposure to temperature extremes and overhead hazards.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous facility maintenance experience essential.
- Experience working in manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during entire shifts.
- Must possess and wear safety shoes (steel toe required); safety glasses will be provided.
- Familiarity with special equipment used in facility and manufacturing maintenance is a plus.
