What’s a typical day as CNC Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Programming, setting up, and operating a CNC Laser and/or CNC Punch Press
- Using computers, CAD programs, basic hand tools, and measurement instruments
- Communicating with production leads and collaborating with Quality, Environmental, and H&S employees
- Inspecting production parts to ensure compliance with requirements
- Maintaining your work area and ensuring a clean and safe environment
- Upholding high standards for quality and following all safety and environmental regulations
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Can read and interpret 2D prints and work instructions (must have)
- Are experienced with measurement instruments to verify components (must have)
- Possess strong verbal communication and excellent time management skills (must have)
- Are willing to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (must have)
- Can lift up to 50 lbs and stand/bend frequently (must have)
- Are comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled production environment (must have)
