Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Fairview, NC
Shift: 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm)
Pay Rate: $17.61/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team in Fairview, NC. This is a first-shift role, offering competitive pay and growth potential within the company. The Material Handler plays a key role in supporting production by accurately handling, transporting, and documenting materials throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Assess material requirements at the start of each shift and order materials to meet production schedules.
- Material Handling: Transport raw materials, components, packaging materials, finished goods, and scrap to and from the production area.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork, including bills of lading and shipping/receiving records.
- Shipping & Receiving: Prepare outgoing materials by scanning, labeling, and wrapping items as necessary. Unpack and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices.
- Equipment Operation: Safely lift heavy materials and operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Quality & Compliance: Maintain records of received goods, noting and reporting any discrepancies or unsatisfactory items.
Requirements
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, and be physically active throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Prior experience is not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Adherence to company procedures and safety guidelines.

- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced, routine material handling environment.
