Job Title: Box Truck Driver

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Box Truck Driver to manage material transfers between buildings. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring all transfers are completed. This role demands a high level of efficiency while strictly adhering to workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure steady flow of material between facilities, meeting all service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Complete pre-trip vehicle inspections before every transfer

  • Ensure all vehicles are in proper operating order

  • Move equipment between BR warehouses as needed

  • Scan material being off-loaded at each facility

  • Ensure all yard horses are fueled and in good working order

  • Maintain vehicle maintenance schedules

  • Work independently, self-managing with minimal supervision

  • Operate jack and forklift to move equipment in/out of trailers

  • Train new drivers during peak season as required

  • Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

  • Maintain regular communication with all facilities to coordinate logistics and ensure smooth operations

  • Respond promptly to emails concerning pick-up and production requests, providing timely follow-ups

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 5–7 years’ experience in a fulfillment operation or similar related environment

  • knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Proficient in English; Spanish communication skills a plus

  • Valid certified Forklift or Power Jack license

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Comfortable sitting for long periods of time

  • Flexibility in work schedule (production volumes may require weekends and holidays)

Shift & Compensation

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Compensation: $20.00 hourly (USD)
