Quality Control Inspector I – QC Shipping Inspector I
2nd shift  3:00-11:00 pm
Pay rate $20-23/hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector I to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct quality inspections of packaged materials, sub-assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality procedures and standards. This role involves verifying conformance to established specifications and reviewing picked items for accuracy against released orders.

Essential Functions

  • Shipping Inspection:

    • Perform visual inspections of shipping materials and products according to established procedures.

    • Verify parts against sales orders and Agile requirements.

    • Document inspection results using an electronic storage system.


  • Quality Documentation:

    • Maintain electronic quality documentation files, including inspection records, within a designated database.

    • Read and interpret documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Product Development Agreements (PDAs), and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).


  • Verification Tasks:

    • Check items including, but not limited to:

      • Serial Numbers of devices

      • Parts and accessories included in shipments

      • Date Codes

      • Batteries

      • Lot Numbers



  • Collaboration:

    • Interface with other functions and departments as required to ensure quality standards are met.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in a related position (required).

  • Experience with Oracle and MES (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret procedures, specifications, and engineering drawings.

  • Familiarity with mechanical and electronic test equipment.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Oracle, and MES.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
