Job Title: Packer Entry
Reports To: Shipping Manager


Job Purpose:
To support the packing function of the production facility by moving and preparing quality extruded aluminum for shipment to meet customer expectations, under full management supervision and direction.


Key Accountabilities/Job Functions:

  • Move and pack aluminum extrusions according to customer specifications.

  • Visually inspect metal for defects to ensure product quality.

  • Enter packed piece counts into the Epics system.

  • Use overhead cranes and/or forklifts to move extrusions.

  • Perform miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Special Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to read, write, and possess basic math skills.

  • Familiarity with basic computer input.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Good attendance record and reliable work history.

  • Desire to maintain a clean and organized work area with good housekeeping practices.

  • Strong communication skills with a positive attitude.

  • Must be a team player and demonstrate the ability to work safely and think safety-first.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
