Job Title: Claims Coordinator – Luxury Eyewear Retailer
Location: Mason, OH 45040 (Onsite at Cincinnati Service Center)
Pay: $22.55/hour
Assignment: Temp 3 months (possible extensioin)
About the Role:
Kelly® is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Coordinator to join our team onsite, supporting a top luxury eyewear retailer. The ideal candidate will work at the Cincinnati Service Center in Mason, OH. This is a temporary assignment with competitive pay, supporting the Collections team and ensuring claims and payments are accurately managed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the ATB (Aged Trial Balance) process to improve collection rates, reduce bad debt, and assist in meeting quarterly reserve risk goals.
- Research, review, and resolve outstanding claims using internal queries and tools.
- Log and process claim denials, credits, overpayments, and potential refunds.
- Collaborate with Plan Owners, Payer Relations, and Finance for accurate processing and escalations.
- Handle resubmission of claims, monitor claims status, and track denials or payments.
- Complete write-offs, resubmits, calls, emails, and ensure all actions are documented for auditing.
- Identify payer trends and system issues affecting claims or collections.
- Work the “Payment Received After” query weekly to ensure accurate payment application.
- Provide high attention to detail and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
- Prior experience in collections, billing, or claims processing, especially in a healthcare or insurance environment, highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and research skills; proficiency in Excel (including v-lookup) required.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High degree of integrity and attention to confidentiality.
