About the Job
Kelly® is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join a client in Tampa, FL. This position supports employee benefit programs including health, welfare, and retirement plans (401(k), HSA/FSA, medical, dental, vision, life, disability) by ensuring efficient, compliant operations and excellent employee support

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer benefit programs: Support daily operations for health, welfare, and retirement plans.

  • 401(k) Experience: Manage 401(k) plans, support/lead non-discrimination testing, annual audits, and Form 5500 preparation.

  • Employee Support: Respond to benefit inquiries, assist during open enrollment, provide clear communications.

  • Maintain Records: Audit benefit data in HRIS systems, reconcile invoices, and prepare reports for audits and compliance.

  • Vendor Coordination: Resolve carrier, billing, and eligibility issues.

  • Project Management: Facilitate open enrollment, audits, plan integrations, and compliance.

  • Communication: Develop materials, maintain SharePoint pages, lead Shared Services meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 1–3 years HR/benefits administration experience preferred.

  • 401(k) plan administration and audit/testing experience highly preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); Mail Merge experience a plus.

  • Experience with HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to manage confidential information and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience & Certifications

  • Exposure to benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA).

  • Experience collaborating with benefit carriers and third-party administrators.

  • Mail Merge proficiency (Microsoft Word).
