Job Title: Quality Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Schedule: 1st shift – Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: Competitive; based on experience
About the Role:
Kelly Services is seeking a Quality Manager for our client to lead quality operations within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining quality systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing inspections, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Lead and support a team of Quality Control Inspectors.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100/AS9120, and FAA requirements.
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct audits, supplier evaluations, and customer quality support.
- Track quality metrics and drive process improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in quality management within manufacturing; aerospace experience preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100/AS9120, and quality auditing practices.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
