Kelly® is seeking a Equipment Maintenance Technician to work at a premier manufacturing client in Lenexa, KS

Pay Rate: $26.00 – $36.00 per hour

Shift: Days – 12 hour rotating schedule 6:00am to 6:30pm

What’s a typical day as Equipment Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:

  • Making repairs or adjustments on all production process equipment as directed by work orders or management.

  • Supporting manufacturing, filling, and packaging operations by performing repairs to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

  • Completing preventative maintenance and general repair work orders as scheduled.

  • Fabricating minor repair parts within the maintenance machining and welding shop.

  • Analyzing and correcting maintenance issues to ensure compliance with SOPs.

  • Communicating with Maintenance Team Lead and Supervisors regarding shift transfer information and equipment conditions.

  • Collaborating with engineering on capital equipment needs and supporting installations.

  • Reporting actual or potential safety hazards to management.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

  • Bring 3+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance.

  • Possess experience with automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, lubrication, and electrical systems, as well as industrial automation.

  • Have strong skills in mechanical repair, welding, machining, and fabrication.

  • Are familiar with industrial control wiring systems.

  • Exhibit strong customer service and communication skills.

  • (Preferred) Have experience with process automation control troubleshooting.

  • Are physically able to stand for up to 6 hours, squat, bend, climb ladders, work up to 12-hour shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and wear clean room gowning as needed.

  • Possess strong computer skills and are proficient in Microsoft Office, corporate applications, and maintenance work order software systems.
