Job Title: Assembler Operator

Pay Rate: $19.80/hr
Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:00pm – 6:00am

Position Summary

The Assembler Operator is an entry-level role responsible for preparing, assembling, and inspecting products to meet quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up equipment and machines at the start of each shift

  • Conduct quality assurance checks and inspect for product defects

  • Communicate promptly with set-up technicians and supervisors regarding any operational issues

  • Use inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, optical comparators) for accurate dimensional inspections

  • Complete quality inspection documentation independently and make necessary adjustments

  • Read and interpret basic blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials

  • Document and report any product defects according to company procedures

  • Adhere to all safety and quality standards

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or relevant work experience

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with mechanical systems

  • Proficient with inspection equipment and interpreting inspection data

  • Ability to follow written instructions, blueprints, and diagrams

  • Basic computer skills

  • Strong attention to detail, energy, and initiative

  • English literacy: ability to read and write effectively

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and carry up to 30 lbs safely and consistently

  • Push/pull up to 180 lbs with a hand dolly as needed

  • Repetitive hand movements; will rotate tasks daily

  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and balancing during the shift (8–10 hours)

  • Willingness to work in varying, sometimes warm, environmental conditions
