Stores Clerk – Aerospace Manufacturing (2nd Shift)
Location: Sumner, WA
Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22.25/hour base + 10% shift differential = $24.48/hour


About the Role
We are a growing aerospace manufacturer seeking a detail-oriented Stores Clerk to support shipping and inventory operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring finished parts are accurately stored, documented, and shipped to meet customer and production timelines.


Position Summary
The Stores Clerk is responsible for managing outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory, and organizing completed parts. This role ensures all materials are handled, packaged, and shipped in accordance with company and customer requirements.


Core Responsibilities

  • Record and track all outgoing shipment information

  • Determine shipping priorities and methods to meet required schedules

  • Create shipping documentation and pull inventory from storage

  • Select proper packaging and prepare materials for shipment

  • Assemble containers or use preassembled packaging; secure crates and apply metal banding as needed

  • Label, stamp, stencil, or apply shipping instructions accurately

  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies

  • Ensure organization and accuracy in all shipping and inventory processes

Required Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

  • High attention to detail

  • Basic math skills

  • Experience working with ERP systems (shipping modules required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • Technical or college certification related to inventory or logistics is a plus

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of inventory, shipping, or warehouse experience

Computer Skills

  • Intermediate computer skills required

Working Environment

  • Manufacturing/warehouse setting

  • May involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

  • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, including THC

Compliance Requirement
Employment is contingent upon ITAR compliance. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.
