Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Department/Group: Maintenance

General Description (Role)
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance of both facility locations to ensure the facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently. This position will troubleshoot issues, complete repairs, schedule vendor visits when needed and approved, and support daily operations across multiple building functions.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems

  • Complete work orders, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks

  • Troubleshoot equipment and building failures and determine appropriate repair method

  • Repair or replace fixtures, lighting, switches, outlets, and minor electrical components

  • Perform basic plumbing repairs

  • Maintain building interior and exterior, including doors, flooring, walls, and grounds

  • Operate hand tools, power tools and maintenance equipment following safe measures

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation

  • Respond to facility emergencies as needed

 
Skill Requirements & Certifications

  • 3-5 years basic maintenance experience

  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems

  • Basic electrical knowledge (120/240/480V, sensors, relays)

  • Ability to read work orders, manuals, and schematics

  • Proven strong troubleshooting & problem-solving skills

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs

 
PREFERRED SKILLS

  • 2+ yrs experience in manufacturing/industrial environment

  • Forklift Certified

Education Requirements

  • HVAC, electrical or maintenance certifications a PLUS

Work Experience Requirements

  • 3-5 years basic maintenance experience

  • 2+ yrs experience in manufacturing/industrial environment
