Job Title: Control Panel Technician

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00/hour (DOE)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Technician to join our team on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). In this role, you will layout, assemble, and wire complex industrial control panels that support critical water and wastewater systems. Your work will help ensure reliable infrastructure for cities, municipalities, and homes by building panels that control the movement and distribution of water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Layout and assemble industrial control panels according to engineering drawings.
  

• Wire electrical control panels using schematics and wiring diagrams.
  

• Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs).
  

• Perform point-to-point wiring and component mounting.
  

• Conduct quality inspections to ensure panels meet specifications and safety standards.
  

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve design or assembly issues.
  

• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Experience assembling and wiring industrial control panels.
  

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and bills of materials.
  

• Knowledge of electrical theory and the ability to perform electrical measurements.
  

• Experience using hand tools and performing light metal fabrication.
  

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with water and wastewater systems.
  

• Familiarity with UL standards and industrial control panel compliance requirements.
  

• Ability to troubleshoot and test completed control panels.
