Pay Rate: $41.00 per hour (1-year contract)
Shift: 2pm-10pm, Some OT during the week and potential Saturdays if coverage is needed

What’s a typical day as Maintenance Engineer-Team Lead? You’ll be:
- Supervising semi to highly skilled production and/or maintenance employees on an assigned shift.
- Achieving departmental and area goals related to delivery, quality, safety, and cost standards.
- Serving as the first-line liaison between shop floor employees and management staff.
- Establishing a positive employee environment focused on communication, feedback, and guidance.
- Ensuring that assigned personnel receive appropriate training, work instructions, and tools.
- Monitoring control plans, troubleshooting workmanship problems, and supervising production activities to meet or exceed quality requirements.
- Administering employee policies, practices, procedures, and work rules.
- Monitoring individual and team performance, taking corrective actions as needed, and addressing employee concerns.
- Determining daily manufacturing priorities based on production schedules, assigning tasks, filling vacancies, and managing overtime.
- Planning for maintenance of equipment and facilities to maximize uptime and asset utilization.
- Monitoring budget targets and initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Leading departmental continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining safety programs.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of tooling fixtures and assembly equipment (not facility maintenance).
- Bring experience with preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Have previous experience supervising or leading a team in a production or maintenance setting.
- Possess strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Are not in need of visa sponsorship for this position.
