  • Location: Pasco WA

  • Benifited contract assignment 6 – 9 months + 

  • Hourly rate – 65hr – 85hr

  • ++ Lots of OT (20hrs+ per week) at time and a half ++

  • Must be able to work without the need of sponsorship

  • Must have facility / industrial constrouction manament experience

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Engineer / Construction Manager to oversee the on-site installation and execution of large-scale industrial projects. This role is responsible for managing installation activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules and budgets, and ensuring successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial construction, project management, and material handling or automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all on-site installation activities for assigned projects.

  • Oversee subcontractor scope, schedules, and daily performance throughout project execution.

  • Deliver installation projects on time and within budget while meeting quality and safety expectations.

  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison between clients, subcontractors, and the internal project team.

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop labor resource plans and quality control strategies.

  • Maintain control of project scope and ensure compliance with contract requirements and project specifications.

  • Identify, document, and manage scope changes while coordinating necessary change orders.

  • Develop and maintain project budgets, cost reports, earned value tracking, and cost-at-completion forecasts.

  • Monitor monthly project costs and proactively identify opportunities to avoid cost overruns.

  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure proper staffing and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Track project milestones, communicate progress, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

  • Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to minimize schedule or budget impacts.

  • Foster strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

  • Ensure installation activities are completed safely and in accordance with industry standards and company policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education and experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in construction management, project management, or industrial installation environments.

  • Strong understanding of project management principles, construction methodologies, and cost control.

  • Experience managing subcontractors on industrial construction projects.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining project schedules and budgets.

  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial controls, automation, or material handling systems.

  • Background in one or more of the following industries:

    • Material Handling Systems

    • Distribution & Fulfillment Centers

    • Data Centers

    • Building Automation

    • Consumer Products Manufacturing

    • Automotive Manufacturing

    • Food & Beverage Processing

    • Industrial Process Manufacturing

    • Energy Management


  • Knowledge of low-voltage installation, including conduit, cabling, and field wiring.

  • Experience using Microsoft Project or similar project management software.

  • Experience managing industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and automation projects.

  • Experience implementing material handling equipment (MHE) solutions.

  • Previous hands-on trade experience related to industrial construction or material handling installations is a plus.
