Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Sparks, Nevada (close to USA Parkway)
Pay Rate: $31.25 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations during overnight hours. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing safety standards, and supervising warehouse personnel. The successful candidate will also serve as a key holder with responsibilities related to facility security, opening and closing procedures, and alarm management.
This position requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a team in a fast-paced environment while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Training Schedule
First Week Training/First Shift:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Regular Schedule
Night Shift:
Monday – Friday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead warehouse associates during the overnight shift
- Monitor daily warehouse operations to ensure productivity goals are achieved
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper receiving, storage, and shipping procedures
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with all OSHA and workplace safety standards
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to maximize performance and efficiency
- Coordinate workload and staffing to meet operational demands
- Conduct shift meetings and communicate expectations, priorities, and updates
- Manage facility security, including opening and closing procedures and alarm systems
- Investigate and resolve operational issues, discrepancies, and employee concerns
- Complete required reports and maintain accurate operational records
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvement
Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse supervisory or leadership experience required
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Experience enforcing workplace safety standards and procedures
- Proficiency with ERP warehouse management systems (SAP preferred)
- Ability to perform general warehouse functions that will include lifting and operating heavy equipment
- Ability to operate a reach truck, forklift, and pallet jack
