Warehouse Team Leader – 1st Shift (6:00am – 3:00pm) | Oakdale, CA

Pay Rate: $35.00/hour

Seasonal Opportunity – Flexibility Required
Are you passionate about leading teams and optimizing warehouse operations? We’re seeking a motivated Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily logistics at our Oakdale facility. This key role ensures the accurate, timely processing of inbound and outbound materials, supports warehouse management, trains and leads staff, and enforces high standards in safety and food compliance.

Shift:
1st Shift – 6:00am to 3:00pm (Please note: Hours may change based on workload or staffing needs; flexibility is essential.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate daily material handling operations, including shipping and receiving.

  • Oversee inventory integrity, material rotation (FEFO), and cycle counting.

  • Train and maintain safety compliance, especially in forklift and warehouse operations.

  • Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

  • Schedule and manage staffing to ensure consistent coverage across all shifts.

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain.

  • Support during Fresh Pack season (up to 7 days/week for 16 weeks, overtime premium pay).

  • Responsible for maintaining safety, quality, efficiency, and cost targets.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required; four-year degree preferred.

  • 3–5 years in logistics or warehouse operations, with proven people management experience.

  • Food-processing manufacturing experience a plus.

  • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel) skills; SAP or ERP experience preferred.

  • Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Flexibility to work other shifts as needed.

  • Union environment experience a plus.
