Pay rate: $22/hr
The Expediter is responsible for ensuring material flow and inventory accuracy across production areas. This role supports operational efficiency by monitoring rack availability, maintaining optimal utilization of key resources, and performing regular inventory counts throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform rack inventory counts in each designated area at the start of shift, mid-shift, and end of shift: three counts per shift to track availability by model. Maintain accurate records of rack quantities and report discrepancies promptly. Ensure SLT and RLT lines are consistently and fully utilized to support production requirements.
Coordinate with production and planning teams to address shortages, imbalances, or flow issues.
Monitor rack movement and placement to ensure proper allocation across areas. Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and rack utilization.
Communicate status updates and escalating issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or material coordination is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Basic data tracking and reporting skills; Excel or similar tools preferred .
Work Environment Manufacturing/production floor setting.
Requires standing, walking, and frequent movement between areas during shift.
