Quality Control Technician II
Pay: $20-$25/hour
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
A Direct Hire Opportunity
Overview:
Reports to the Quality Assurance Manager; responsible for inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards. Acts as an internal and external auditor, collaborating with Production and R&D teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and tests on materials and products; accurately document results and deviations
- Identify and report nonconformances; participate in root cause analysis and process improvement
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment
- Assist with training staff and developing SOPs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and report issues
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of quality control experience (industrial environment preferred)
- Knowledge of inspection methods and analytical testing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic data systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate findings and work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
