Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Mon – Friday 8AM to 5PM

What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be:

  • Performing various shipping and receiving duties both manually and with a forklift.

  • Maintaining accurate inventory and conducting inventory actions such as cycle counts and daily perpetual counts.

  • Providing superior customer service and communicating positively with customers and team members.

  • Preparing orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.

  • Keeping the work environment safe and clean by maintaining shelves, pallet areas, and workstations.

  • Using the warehouse management system to research and resolve issues or errors.

  • Processing purchase orders, receiving, warehouse product put-away, customer orders, and warehouse transfers.

  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have at least 2-3 years of warehouse operational experience (required).

  • Possess forklift experience and are comfortable lifting up to 70 pounds.

  • Can climb ladders and work on your feet throughout the shift.

  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (required).

  • Have PC/computer experience and familiarity with scan gun usage (preferred).

  • Demonstrate experience with inventory and shipping/receiving (preferred).

  • Are able to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, and move between workstations as needed.

  • Can see and hear clearly in a noisy environment, with or without corrective aids.
