Job Title: Title Clerk (Automotive Purchasing) – Temp-Hire
Location: Alpine area  
Shift: First Shift, Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay: $18–$20/hr DOE


About the Role
We’re seeking an organized, detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our automotive purchasing team! In this front-line role, you’ll help with vehicle sales paperwork, process vehicle titles, and support our team with various office tasks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and answer phones.

  • Assist with vehicle sales paperwork and miscellaneous office tasks.

  • Process vehicle titles both in-house and with the State.

  • Maintain knowledge of title/Secretary of State procedures, tag registration, and CVR.

  • Work directly with tow companies, drivers, and adjusters for vehicle dispatching.

  • Accurately handle paperwork and update status in our inventory control system.

  • Communicate issues or changes to relevant staff.

  • Support the office team during PTO or as needed on special projects.

  • Data entry, filing, reporting, and tracking dispatch and vehicle statuses.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the automotive industry.

  • Experience in title and tag registration is a plus.

  • Proficient computer skills, especially Excel.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
