Job Title: Off Bearer
Location: Downingtown, PA
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Job Summary:
The Off Bearer position supports the operations team and assists in the smooth operation of daily printing functions. This role is responsible for handling printed blanks, maintaining quality standards, and supporting press operations and maintenance activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pick up cut and printed blanks from the press delivery table

  • Jog blanks and inspect for cutting or printing defects; notify operator of any defects found

  • Stack blanks on pallets to required heights, wrap pallets with stretch wrap, and place completed load tags on pallets

  • Move full pallets using manual or electric pallet jacks to the material handling staging area

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Assist with press make-ready tasks, including pulling cylinders, washing pumps, and changing gears

  • Support machine maintenance and cleaning as needed

  • Assist with other duties as assigned, such as strapping loads, emptying bins, or stacking empty pallets

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • 1 year of previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Positive work attitude and willingness to collaborate
