Are you a future engineer ready to make a real-world impact?
We help create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product solutions around the globe. We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Engineering Intern (officially titled Contract Engineering Technician) to join our team in St. Louis. This is your chance to step out of the classroom and into a high-tech manufacturing environment where your data and insights will directly improve life-saving medical solutions.
The Mission:
As a key member of our Engineering team, you will bridge the gap between theory and practice. You won’t just be observing—you’ll be actively optimizing the heartbeat of our facility.
What you’ll do:
- Process Optimization: Audit and refine work instructions for operations, packaging, and maintenance to ensure world-class quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Data Analysis: Use Excel, Minitab, and Python to collect and analyze production data, turning raw numbers into actionable engineering solutions.
- Root Cause Analysis: Collaborate with senior engineers to identify and solve operational challenges using statistical analysis and site-level research.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support the technical staff with value-added tasks and administrative projects that keep our facility running at peak performance.
Who You Are:
- The Academic: You are currently pursuing a B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering and will have completed your sophomore year by May 2026.
- The Analyst: You have a working knowledge of Excel, Minitab, or Python and love digging into the data to find the “why.”
- The Communicator: You can translate technical findings into clear narratives for both engineers and shop-floor staff.
- The Professional: You have a high attention to detail, a “safety-first” mindset, and strong organizational skills.
Why Join Us?
You will gain hands-on experience in Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control, and Lean Operations within the highly regulated medical products industry. It’s the perfect way to build your resume while contributing to a mission that saves lives.
