Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a temp-to-hire position at a beverage manufacturing company in Clackamas, OR. If you’re passionate about bringing the latest scientific discoveries to life and are ready to take the next step in your career, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts.

Pay Rate:  
$21/hour

Overview:
In this position, you will perform laboratory tests, prepare and blend beverage ingredients, ensure product quality and safety, operate and maintain lab equipment, and collaborate with teams to meet manufacturing standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Schedule: 
Wednesday-Saturday, 8:00pm to 6:30am (shift differential available)
 
Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests and analyses to assess the chemical and physical properties of raw materials, in-process solutions, and finished beverage products.

  • Prepare, blend, and adjust ingredients and chemical solutions to create, develop, and improve beverage formulations according to specific formulas and customer requirements.

  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure accurate and reliable testing and results.

  • Test for attributes such as taste, odor, appearance, carbonation, acidity, and pH levels, ensuring compliance with internal specifications, food laws, and quality standards.

  • Document and report all test results, procedures, and data accurately, preparing standardized forms, graphs, and reports as needed for process verification and improvement.

  • Clean and sanitize laboratory and production equipment, support cross-department collaboration, and contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to safety and quality protocols.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field OR HSD with 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Food/beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
