Contract-Open Ended-Potential for Permanent + Extension
**Ideal candidate would have an Electrical Engineering Background**
SUMMARY
This position provides manufacturing engineering support to a Medical Device and Disposables manufacturing operation. Primary responsibilities include product/process issue/complaint investigation & resolution, transfer of design releases/changes to manufacturing, as well as specification, installation, and qualification of new manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment. Other responsibilities may include individual project management, drafting of associated procedures, process risk assessment/mitigation, troubleshooting/repair of existing equipment, as well as providing technical guidance to manufacturing personnel and other supporting functions.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline (Preferred Electrical Engineering)
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering and/or manufacturing support role
- Experience in root-cause analysis
- Experience in product/process design change/transfer
- Prefer 3 or more years supporting medical device, medical disposables, and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented individual
- Experience in SolidWorks
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, MS Project – Preferred)
- Prefer LEAN, Six Sigma, and/or DFSS training/certification
