Job Title: Shipper
Location: Montgomeryville, PA
Position Summary:
Responsible for staging, packing, wrapping, and shipping products to customers. Supports production packaging functions and ensures on-time delivery (OTD) while complying with security standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare orders for shipment using a pick list, printing labels, wrapping and strapping pallets and cartons, and following specific packing instructions.

  • Coordinate with Customer Service for proper product handling and communicate any shipment issues.

  • Process shipping transactions with secure and common carriers according to security procedures.

  • Restack and repackage pallets and cartons from other sites as needed.

  • Prepare cardbodies from sister sites based on the production schedule.

  • Load and unload trucks as required.

  • Provide backup support for the Receiving team and Techno Kitter, including inventory, monitoring stock levels, notifying Purchasing to reorder consumables, and delivering goods and materials.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to attain and maintain a license to operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklift).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous shipping experience.

  • Forklift operation experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Must wear safety shoes (as per Safety Shoe Policy).

  • May require additional PPE (e.g., safety glasses).

  • Able to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, and packing (up to 60 lbs).

  • Requires constant standing/walking and occasional stair climbing.

  • Fast-paced environment; use of lifting equipment required.

Additional Details:

  • Location: 100% onsite in Montgomeryville, PA.

  • Duration: 3-month assignment (possibility of extension or permanent hire, not guaranteed).

  • Compensation: $22/hour.

  • Schedule: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (40 hours/week). Flexibility for overtime (early starts/late finishes) required.

  • Training: Approximately 2 weeks, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
