Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in New Philadelphia, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment during the final stages of the depth filter manufacturing process. The products you help produce support critical industries including water treatment, beverage processing, and healthcare.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment to ensure efficient operation

  • Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, Life-Saving Rules, and housekeeping standards

  • Participate in safety meetings, audits, investigations, and continuous improvement activities

  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

  • Set up, operate, and clean manufacturing equipment according to established procedures

  • Assist with equipment changeovers and production preparation activities

  • Move raw materials and finished goods to designated locations

  • Accurately enter production data into SAP, databases, logs, and production records

  • Monitor product quality and make process adjustments as needed to ensure specifications are met

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to minimize downtime and scrap

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications
Required:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Previous machine operation, manufacturing, or production experience preferred

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Basic computer skills and data entry experience

  • Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift

  • Ability to frequently lift and move materials

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with automated equipment
