Join our dynamic production team as a Production Quality Sample Technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment! You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside supportive colleagues, all while ensuring our products meet the highest standards. 

Here are some major details:

  • Location: Buchanan, NY

  • Pay Rate: $20/hr

  • Shift: Monday–Saturday, 7:00am–3:00pm (first 2 weeks for training), then 11:00am–7:00pm with Wednesdays off depending on business needs; schedule may vary to fill in gaps for coverage.

  • Contract: Temp to hire

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is required

  • Proficient in using a standard tape measure

  • Basic computer skills are preferred

  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 20 lbs with assistance

  • Willingness to wear steel toe/safety toe boots and all mandated PPE at all times

  • Comfortable with walking, standing, lifting, bending, and twisting throughout the shift

  • Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carefully cut wallboard samples at regular, scheduled intervals using appropriate safety equipment and utility knives

  • Take precise, basic measurements using a standard tape measure

  • Accurately log and record measurement results for quality tracking

  • Consistently wear required PPE including steel toe/safety toe boots (ASTM F2413-05 standard), cut gloves, and other safety gear

  • Assist with lifting and carrying samples up to 20 lbs as needed
