Material Handling Operator
Position Overview:
Join our warehouse team! As a Material Handling Operator, you’ll help receive, store, and move materials throughout our plant to keep production running smoothly. You’ll also support inventory, shipping, and ensure safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, and supply materials to production areas.
- Record material movement in inventory systems.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Prepare and organize shipments.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of warehouse and forklift experience; overhead crane experience a plus.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varied temperatures.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel; ERP systems preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a vision test for forklift operation.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with ISO 9000:2000 Quality System.
- Experience working at heights.
