Hours: Day shift Training 7am-3pm, will move to 2nd shift in October 2026: 2:30pm-11:00pm

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$24–25/hr. based on skills and experience
Shift:
•    Initial hours: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift 7:00am–3:00pm
•    Transition to 2nd Shift: 2:30pm–11:00pm starting October 2026

What’s a typical day as a Quality Technician? You’ll be:
•    Conducting incoming, in-process, and end-of-line inspections to verify compliance with quality standards, technical specifications, and legal requirements
•    Monitoring production processes to identify and resolve material, component, and assembly quality deviations in a timely manner
•    Opening, documenting, and following up on non-conformities, maintaining accurate inspection and quality records
•    Supporting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with production and engineering teams
•    Communicating with suppliers regarding quality issues and participating in internal/external audits
•    Operating and interpreting measuring and inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and electronic measuring tools
•    Providing technical guidance and quality-related training to production teams
•    Upholding and promoting a strong safety culture by adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
•    Have a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s in a technical field preferred)
•    Bring 3+ years of professional experience in manufacturing quality control (wind turbine manufacturing experience a plus)
•    Possess solid knowledge of inspection techniques, quality standards, and quality management systems (e.g., SAP QM)
•    Are familiar with electrical or mechanical systems and can read technical schematics
•    Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
•    Are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
•    Understand and are committed to maintaining safety protocols and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations
•    Have working proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ISO 9000:2000 Quality Systems (preferred)
•    Are adaptable, responsible, and able to work independently while demonstrating strong leadership skills
