PLM/CAD Data Migration Engineer (Windchill/CREO)

 

  • Location: 100% ONSITE – Redmond, Washington (98052)

  • Type: W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY will be considered)

  • Pay Rate: Negotiable depending on direct related experience UP to $46 – $53/hour

  • Duration: 18-month contract (Estimated to end 1/2028)

  • Work Authorization: Must be currently in the United States with active employment authorization documents without current sponsorship transfer requirements.

 

Job Summary:

This position works on OnePLM migration project supporting engineering data quality and PLM readiness by executing CAD data cleanup and alignment activities within CAD and PLM systems.

Duties Include:

  • Working with engineers and CAD/PLM leads to update and validate part and assembly metadata, including attributes, naming conventions, and file structures, resolving inconsistencies across CAD files and associated product structures.


  • Modifies and maintains 2D and 3D models as needed to ensure alignment with standards and accurate linkage to parts and BOMs, and supports file type standardization and CAD–PLM integration.
     

MUST HAVE:

  • Experience using PLM and CAD software systems, preferably Windchill and CREO to include demonstrated experience modifying 2D and 3D models within CAD systems & experience updating metadata within PLM systems.

  • Detail oriented and the ability to spot inconsistencies and missing information.


  • Ability to work directly with engineering to resolve ambiguous legacy data.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Previous PTC Windchill administrator or power-user experience


  • Experience supporting PLM migrations or data remediation projects.


  • Configuration management and part numbering knowledge.


  • Medical device or other regulated industry experience
