Schedule:
1st Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay Rate:
$21.00 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Soldering & Waldering Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in soldering, assembly, mechatronics, and electronics. This role requires precise assembly and thorough testing of electronic and mechanical parts, with the ability to make necessary adjustments. Attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and a commitment to continuous improvement are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts and components according to standardized work instructions, top-level, and sub-level drawings.
- Trim, test, and adjust assembled parts as needed, utilizing your electronics and mechatronics background.
- Carefully inspect electronic and mechanical assemblies to ensure quality and compliance.
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain high cleanliness standards in accordance with 5S principles throughout your shift.
- Operate microscopes for precise soldering and inspection tasks.
- Utilize computers for work recording and process tracking.
- Consistently follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Exhibit a mindset of continuous improvement in all tasks performed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with soldering and assembly in a manufacturing environment.
- Background in mechatronics and electronics (required for testing and adjustments).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and SOPs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Experience with microscopes and computer systems.
- Familiarity with 5S or similar workplace organization systems is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive work ethic.
