Job Title: Contract Precision Assembler 
Location: Avon, Ohio
Company: Kelly Services (on behalf of an innovative aerospace manufacturing organization)
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM

About the Company:
Kelly Services is hiring for a growing aerospace manufacturer in Avon, Ohio, which has been servicing the aerospace industry for over 30 years. This organization specializes in precision-manufactured components, assemblies, and kitting solutions.

Position Summary:
As a Precision Assembler, you’ll work under general supervision to assemble a variety of aerospace components as specified by process documents, drawings, and customer requirements. You’ll ensure proper inventory of parts, maintain an organized work area, and keep assembly equipment in top condition.

This is a 6-10-week contract position with possibility of it being extended. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly operations, including installing screw thread inserts, rivets, screws, bolts, and components

  • Organize and clean work area after each shift

  • Perform manual deburring operations as needed

  • Follow Process Routing Documents for assembly and inspection; accurately record inspection results

  • Complete all reports and paperwork legibly and timely

  • Adhere to company workmanship standards and procedures (Employee Handbook, Safety Manual, Emergency Planning)

  • Communicate effectively with management and other shop personnel

  • Comply with Quality Management System procedures and instructions

  • Demonstrate high ethical standards, integrity, trust, respect, honesty, and teamwork

  • Practice risk-based thinking in daily tasks

  • Safeguard company/customer/supplier property

  • Manage assigned records

Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Competency in inspection processes

  • Effective verbal and written communication in English

  • Basic mathematical, mechanical, and technical skills

  • Strong time management abilities
