Job Overview:

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to perform a variety of operations in our Receiving and Stockroom areas. This role is critical to the efficient flow of materials within our facility and includes responsibilities such as unloading deliveries, verifying inventory, and managing stock according to established processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unload material from delivery trucks and remove packaging
  

• Verify that received parts match packing slips
  

• Stock materials from receiving and maintain first-in, first-out (FIFO) part bin management
  

• Count and return material from the manufacturing floor
  

• Review SAP transactions and other documentation to verify alignment between physical and SAP locations
  

• Participate actively and effectively in team activities and continuous improvement projects
  

• Comply with all Environmental Health and Safety standards, work practices, and other company work rules

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  

• Basic computer skills
  

• Ability to use and operate tools/equipment such as box cutters, scanners, and pallet jacks
  

• Ability to attain and maintain forklift driver certification

Physical Demands:

• Sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods
  

• Frequent walking up and down steps
  

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
  

• Close vision required for use of computer monitors
  

• Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes required in primary work areas and on the manufacturing floor

Work Environment:

• Workstation primarily in Receiving and Stockroom areas
  

• Moderate noise level
  

• Moderate exposure to dirt or dust
  

• Variable temperatures ranging from cold to hot depending on the season
