Operations Clerk / Operations Support Specialist

Assignment Details:

  • Location: Oakdale, CA

  • Payrate: $20.00

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility for a 6-day workweek (Sunday to Friday or Monday to Saturday) as needed

Summary:

Kelly Services ins hiring a Temporary Operations Support Specialist provides essential administrative and operational support within a manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for data management, generating reports, effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, and supporting daily supply chain and business operations. Success in this position requires accuracy, efficiency, and a customer service mindset.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word

  • Ability to multitask well in a fast-paced environment

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Basic math and analytical skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generate, analyze, and distribute reports using SAP and Microsoft Office tools

  • Research and reconcile invoices with receipts for data integrity

  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, scanning, printing, and managing correspondence

  • Maintain accurate and timely data in various systems and spreadsheets

  • Monitor, research, and resolve operational and administrative inquiries

  • Participate in meetings, take notes, and support special projects as assigned

  • Review files and records to fulfill information and documentation requests

  • Communicate daily with employees, vendors, carriers, and corporate teams

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data and documents

  • Apply problem-solving and critical thinking to address operational needs

  • Deliver timely and effective customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

  • Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, including extended hours

  • Work comfortably within both office and plant floor environments requiring standing, sitting, and walking

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

  • Quick learner, especially with new systems and processes

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic and fast-changing environments
