  • Must live in the AG area. 


  • Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20.00/hour


  • Shift: Willingness to begin work at 7:00 AM with a weekly commitment of 30–40 hours

What’s a typical day as a Fox Champion Intern? You’ll be:

  • Utilizing process improvement tools such as autonomous maintenance, reliability maintenance, breakdown elimination, SMED, kaizen events, 5S, Digital Check Lists, and Digital SIM to support plant operations.

  • Participating in and occasionally leading project teams focused on workflow optimization and process redesign.

  • Coaching and supporting teammates in plant improvement techniques, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

  • Monitoring improvement projects, compiling performance updates, and reporting key results to plant managers and frontline operators.

  • Promoting a proactive approach to improvement, encouraging team engagement, and reinforcing safety and quality standards.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • MUST already live local to the Augusta, GA (AG) area.

  • Are currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a bachelor’s program in engineering, business, IT, accounting, economics, or a related technical discipline (must have).

  • Have coursework or interest in process improvement tools (Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Autonomous Maintenance) (preferred).

  • Are skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other basic computer applications (must have).

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively with team members across all levels.

  • Demonstrate initiative, willingness to learn, and adaptability in dynamic plant settings.

  • Have the physical ability to work on the plant floor and warehouse areas, and can reliably start at 7:00 AM and commit to a 30–40 hour/week schedule.
