Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18/hourly

Shift: rotating swing shifts which may include days, nights, and weekends

What’s a typical day as Packaging Technician? You’ll be:

  • Operating and controlling automated and manual packaging equipment, hoppers, and valves.

  • Strictly following Batch Sheet SOPs and work instructions, closely monitoring variables such as cycle time and temperature.

  • Staging raw materials, assisting with incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining organized, safe work areas.

  • Performing scale operations to verify gross and net weights, ensuring packaging documentation is accurate, and labeling products correctly.

  • Reporting directly to the Packaging Supervisor or Production Lead.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED (required); an associate’s degree in a technical field is preferred.

  • Bring previous experience in manufacturing, chemical blending, or packaging environments (highly desired).

  • Possess the physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy materials, and work in a rotating swing shift schedule that includes days, nights, and weekends.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail, safety awareness, and a commitment to quality.
