Job details

Setup, operate, and maintain custom spool-to-spool wire coating equipment. Manage equipment process parameters to consistently produce high-quality products while minimizing downtime and process-related scrap. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating industrial machinery, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and maintains a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

  • Pay: $24 

  • Shift: third 11pm-7am 

Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow job cards, drawings, and work instructions.

  • Complete in-process paperwork as required.

  • Set up and operate custom equipment per established procedures; monitor in-process parameters to ensure finished products meet specifications.

  • Identify process issues and communicate with appropriate parties.

  • Participate in process analysis and root cause investigations with management and engineering.

  • Inspect coated products for uniformity, quality, and defects; adjust processes as necessary.

  • Execute work orders based on planning schedules and customer prioritization.

  • Maintain lot control for each job; accurately scan and log materials into inventory and production tracking systems to ensure real-time data accuracy.

  • Inspect in-process products; distinguish between acceptable and unacceptable surfaces.

  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Maintain a clean work area and perform routine cleaning of equipment.

  • Follow Quality System procedures and work instructions. 

Qualifications

  • Experience following procedures and monitoring critical process parameters to manufacture products with tight tolerances

  • Proficient in the use of optical measuring equipment and performing quality measurements

  • Previous experience setting up and monitoring production equipment

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer skills required

  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
