Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20.50 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift 20.50hr M-F, 3pm-11pm, One week training on 1st shift 7am-3pm

What’s a typical day as Machine Operator? You’ll be:

  • Operating the Baler machine safely and efficiently, strictly following all operating instructions and safety locking mechanisms

  • Keeping all appendages, tools, and PPE safely away from machine workings at all times

  • Accurately reporting processed materials on forms and updating records daily

  • Meeting team production goals of a minimum of 7 bales per hour

  • Promptly reporting all mechanical issues to the Site Manager and Baler Technician Manager

  • Communicating any safety concerns to the Site Manager or Shift Lead

  • Following the provided cleaning schedule and ensuring warehouse/work areas remain clean and tidy

  • Adhering to GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SQF (Safe Quality Food) requirements

  • Being proactive, asking questions, and contributing positively as a team player

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Bring previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing environment (preferred)

  • Are available for full-time work on the 2nd shift schedule, including initial 1st shift training

  • Are committed to safety, teamwork, and diligent record-keeping

  • Can follow detailed procedures and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
