Florence, KY | Up to $44.00/hr | Day Shift | Excellent Benefits
Kelly is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing facility in Florence, KY.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level industrial electrician or electromechanical technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment. While a Journeyman Electrician license is not required, we’re looking for someone with extensive industrial maintenance experience who is comfortable diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of electrical and control systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: Up to $44.00/hour, based on experience

Shift: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

About the Role
This is a highly hands-on maintenance position supporting a manufacturing facility that utilizes a combination of legacy equipment and modern automation technology. You’ll troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, production equipment, PLC-controlled machinery, and motor controls while helping minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving challenging electrical problems and is comfortable working with everything from older relay-based systems to modern PLC-controlled production equipment.
Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, production equipment, and facility electrical infrastructure.

Diagnose electrical failures using wiring diagrams, schematics, meters, and diagnostic equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC-controlled equipment.

Work with both legacy electrical systems and newer automated manufacturing equipment.

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain DC motors, AC motors, motor controls, and DC control logic.

Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

Support production by responding quickly to equipment failures and identifying root causes.

Maintain preventative maintenance records and repair documentation.

Collaborate with operators, maintenance technicians, engineers, and outside contractors on equipment repairs and improvement projects.

Follow OSHA, NFPA, and facility safety standards while performing maintenance activities.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Journeyman Electrician license not required.

Strong troubleshooting skills involving industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.

Experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs.

Experience working with DC motors, AC motors, motor controls, and DC control logic.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

Strong understanding of industrial automation, electrical controls, and machine troubleshooting.

Experience using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.

Technical degree, apprenticeship, or vocational training in Electrical Technology preferred.

Scissor lift experience is a plus.
